9:30 AM Brown Line sexual assault and robbery
Chicago Police issued an alert following a February 26th 9:30 AM incident on the Brown Line. According to police, the offender struck the victim and demanded her purse, then demanded the victim pull her pants down while he attempted to sexually assault her.
Police allege this man was the offender in a February 26th attempted robbery and sexual assault on the Brown Line.
The crime, according to police, happened on the Brown Line as the train headed outbound between Southport and Rockwell stations. The offender was last seen exiting the train at the Rockwell station, located at 4648 N Rockwell St., Chicago, IL.

This is the third violent crime to be associated with the Brown Line
In other crime related transit news, on March 16 police arrested Keith Anderson
, 38, of the 7400 block of South Luella. Anderson was charged with a Felony Attempt Robbery and Battery following a 7 PM attack on a Red Line passenger at the Division station.
It is alleged that Anderson attempted to grab the briefcase of the victim as the train doors opened. The 35 year-old woman, however, kept control of the briefcase, ran onto the platform and pressed the emergency call button located at each station. She then ran to the ticket booth.
Police say Anderson attempted to flee, but was identified by the victim when police arrived.
