Chicago Teachers Union strike a step closer?

The Chicago Tribune reported last evening that the Chicago teachers Union President Karen Lewis would give Chicago Public Schools the needed 10 day notice of intention to strike today. This would mean that the possibility of a strike by teachers and related support personnel may be becoming a reality in the opening week of school. Here is the link to the article in the Tribune.
